Park on the street in front of the park and we will meet by the playground to start our exploration.

Healing Herbs are all around us, especially right now, in this beautiful spring weather!
Virginia is lush with plant life. It is so easy to find, identify, harvest and enjoy all of the healing herbs growing all over.
Let me guide you on a plant walk though Fern Park and some parts of the trail located there! You will never be able to see the "weeds" all around the same again! This is a wonderful skill to have, for many reasons. Wild harvesting is fun, and something you can do with your own family.
You'll soon be adding nutritious greens to salads, treating wounds, and making your own healing wild-remedies in no time.
An herbal tea to drink will be provided (one full of delicious, wild harvested herbs!). Rain or shine, I'll be there!
